Class and Special Events Volunteering
Every parent at The Oaks is invited and encouraged to get to know fellow Oaks parents and teachers throughout the school year by volunteering in the classroom. Opportunities will be under the Volunteer tab as they become available and communicated via weekly Parent Association emails. The Oaks also hosts a variety of special events open to close friends and family of our community. These events include Grandparents and Special Friends Day, Circus, and Winter Sing. This committee also provides assistance to our specialists and other faculty members who need extra hands with the special touches that help make these events shine. Examples include hanging the artwork for Grandparents and Special Friends Day.
The Oaks Kids Craft Fair gives students the opportunity to make and sell their wares arts and crafts to the community. Students are encouraged to not only operate their own booth but to donate a portion of sales to a charitable organization.
